XENTRIX

Simem Xentrix planetary mixer
DESIGN

. Exclusive Design

The design of Simem Xentrix planetary mixers has an off-center positioning of the main mixing arms for central charging of cement, water, and additives which makes it a leader in its class with the best possible mixing action. The mixing is highly efficient due to the integrated action of central satellites (1 or 2 depending on the model) in planetary rotation for a centrifugal effect. An innovative system which distributes water in a 360° umbrella pattern adds to mix efficiency and consistency.

DESIGN

. Mixing Paddles and Tank

Mixing paddles are made of cast iron or combination of a cast iron core lined with wear resistant rubber material, which optimizes the material flow.

Designed for optimal wear resistance, the tank is lined with interchangeable wear liners. A floor with a flexible configuration makes it possible to re-position the bolted liners, allowing for future discharge door addition. Oversized inspection doors ease access for maintenance, while inspection doors remain in tack.

SUN

Simem Xentrix planetary mixer
DESIGN

. Planetary Concrete Mixer

Compulsory mixing action guarantees the most homogeneous mix in minimum mixing time. Steadfast design and quality build materials allow SUN mixers to address a variety of mixing applications for various production processes. Complete plants for truck mixers to precision concrete, recasting factories, mobile plants, construction site plants, and special mixing processes (powders, waste treatment, chemical components, etc.), SUN mixers are proven performers.

DESIGN

. Mixing Efficiency

The mixing flow efficiency is due to the central stars in planetary rotation combined with different peripheral scraping shovel. The tank is internally covered by interchangeable panels made of wear resistant material, while the mixing paddles are manufactured with a Ni-Hard cast iron.

VORTIMIX

Simem Vortimix collidal mixer
DESIGN

. High-Share Colloidal Mixer

The high-shear colloidal mill is recognized as the most efficient method of mixing bentonite, cement, fly ash, etc., with water. The intense mixing action results in homogeneous and stable mixes. Colloidally-mixed cementitious products are found to better resist bleed and provide higher compressive strengths than comparable materials prepared in lower energy, paddle-type mixers.

DESIGN

. Quality and speed

VortiMix is Simem’s new line of advanced high-shear colloidal mixers. The VortiMix can rapidly mix cementitious grouts as low as 0.5:1 water:cement ratio (by weight). When combined with an optional paddle assist, VortiMix can handle grouts as low as 0.45:1 w:c ratio, making the mixer ideal for lightweight cellular concrete applications. Hydrated bentonite can also be rapidly prepared in the VortiMix yielding improved gel strengths and reduced hydration times.

WATERWASH

A NEW RECYCLING SOLUTION

WATERWASH is made up of large filter panels, specially designed for contact with concrete.

By applying the correct pressure, these filter panels separate the water from the fines; the water can be used for other purposes or put into a new concrete batch cycle.

A pH metering and adjustment system is available if the mix design requires pH-neutral water.

AN EASY WAY FOR RECYCLING

WATERWASH can be easily transported since it is installed into a pre-wired and pre-plumbed standard container equipped with lights, insulation, and heating as necessary for the climate it will operate in.

Through a modern PLC system, the operator has complete control of all aspects of the unit and can set the correct filtering for job site specifications.

WATERWASH 1.0 has the capacity to treat up to 10 m3/h of slurry water, while the 2.0 version can treat up to 20 m3/h.

The solid content in the discharge water can be as low as < 0,1 gr/lt.

HOW DOES THE WHOLE SYSTEM WORK

1. The process begins with the mixer or truck washout.
2. Extra concrete is diluted with clean water through pipes
3. The diluted concrete is discharged into the hopper, equipped with conveying pipes
4. BETONWASH works automatically until the complete extraction of aggregates (up to 0.15 mm)
5. The system periodically starts the agitator to avoid the settlement of fine materials
6. Slurry water is received from the WATERWASH from a specific deposit tank
7. WATERWASH separates water from concrete generating a “cake” of aggregates that can be reused in the concrete production
8. Clean water can be reused in the plant for site activity
9. A PH adjustment is available to check water conditions
